i would happily buy a couple of these. I have 2 dogs who are pretty good most of the time but if they want to go and see another dog i too resort to the wrapping the lead round my hand...which is a bad thing to do Lol

It's just arrived this afternoon all the way from Canada!

It's raining here in London ( no change there, then ! ) so I haven't tried it out on a walk yet.

It's sturdily made and easy to unscrew and screw onto the webbed lead. My lead is 2cm wide and the leadmate is very secure and doesnt slip . I showed it to my neighbour and she gave it a good tug and it didn't slip or slide along the lead.

Very impressed so far!

it'll take a while as I don't think Jaan has funding to produce it.

I've been using it myself and it really does make a difference.
The dogs haven't tried to chew it either.

I haven't got round to asking anyone else to try it yet but I certainly would recommend it .

No problem - I'm really happy it's helping you out!

A quote would be fantastic. Feel free to post it up here as well as I'm trying to get as much interest as possible. My advertising budget is slim so any help spreading the word would be amazing.

Hi Everyone!

here is a great little review of lead Mate on Dog Milk

http://dog-milk.com/mingus-and-dottie-try-it-lead-mate/

Lead mate is now live on Kickstarter too - the link is in the review! Any support you can offer by sharing would be super appreciated and get me one step closer to making Lead Mate a reality.

- Product and packaging from 100% Recycled materials.
- Donating 10% of all profits to 'no kill' dog shelters and rescues.
- Planting a tree for every pledge in order to offset environmental impacts of production and shipping.

Campaign is here: www.lead-mate.com

Please support us

I have made a pledge and retweeted your tweet.
I'm just adding the original website addy again.

http://www.leash-mate.com/

It has more info than the kickstarter website.
I think if people read the original site first , they're more likely to read the info, be persuaded and make a decision to pledge.
If they go straight to kickstarter , it might put them off being asked to pedge straight away, they might not want to bother .
Or is that just me
