Bailey German Shepherd female 12mths
Meet
Bailey
:smt049
She’s a sweet natured, 12 month old German Shepherd
Bailey is looking for a new home because her elderly owner is going into a retirement home that doesn’t allow dogs. Unfortunately she hasn’t received the socialisation a young dog needs, having spent most her life never going for walks she is understandably frightened of new situations and environments, however it doesn’t take long for her to adjust. She has settled in well into her foster home where she is now learning to enjoy walks and realising how much fun there is to be had in the park. She has an excellent recall and will need a minimum of 2hrs off lead in park daily
Although Bailey hasn’t been taught basic commands, she is toilet trained, obedient, well behaved and eager to learn. She is good with other dogs, sometimes a little scared around those she doesn’t know. She can be timid when meeting new people, sometimes choosing to hide behind your legs. She craves affection so her new person will have plenty of love to offer her. She likes to sleep by your feet and enjoys cuddles on the sofa when invited. Her previous owner rarely left her alone and although she is ok to be left alone for short periods, she is looking for someone who is at home most of the day. Her new owner will need to spend time working on her socialisation and will be expected to take her to training classes.
Loyal and affectionate Bailey is looking for a kind-hearted person who has owned German Shepherds before. She is good with children but due to her timidness we would prefer to home her with teenagers upwards. A home with a garden and ideally another dog for company.
Bailey is looking for a perfect new home, a home where she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her life.
