Poor little lass and poor you, have you told her breeder the problems you and she are having, if they are responsible they will want to know.

How can I put this without being nasty...(and hoping the breeder isn't reading)...I don't think they would care if I told them.

I took her to the vets, he said it is most likely an allergic reaction to the wash. although he's never seen it before.
He said because it's the best treatment, he doesn't really want to take her off it, and has given me some anti-histemines(sp) to give her, and said lower/higher the dose as needed.

The vet phoned me today, to say the rest of the test results have come back showing nothing!

Thats good news, as it means we've only got to treat the mange, and nothing else!

He wants to see her next week, after her 3rd treatment, and he said she'll prob need another 6 weeks worth (£88!!).
She's also on piriton (sp), for the itching from the wash, and he said we'll keep her on that too, as it's working!

As you say that is good news in a way. Once the mites have been bought down to manageable numbers and the secondary infection has cleared you will be surprised how quickly the hair will re-grow.
