Must confess I always look underneath the dog before I say similar!!
Me too - although I've been given funny looks for doing that

Bo is often mistaken for a girl - must be the fluffy blonde look he's got going on - much like his mum

Scarlett often is mistaken for a "him" LOL.Poor girl.Even when they ask her name, they still think she's a he.To avoid embarrassment for us both, I tell them that she's named after O'Hara and not Pimpernell lol.

But to me,she "looks" like a female Cavalier.A lot of people I meet don't know the breed so I think this is where they struggle differentiating between the sexes.

Her harness and collar are red too, so it's not like that could give it away either lol.And she has her cavvy "skirt" to hide her modesty

I would assume any dog wearing red or pink collar etc is a girl, and any dog wearing blue to be a boy (unless very, very obvious)

However, I also do the "Undercarriage Look" just to check!!

Everyone seems to get Skye's sex correct....even without the pink collar

Reah most say she....but always ask if she is the Mom of the others.

Poor Tess....OK chunky and a tomboy she may be, but the amount who say HE is unbelieveable

And Bruce we get....what sex is it....when his ''whatsit' is clearly visiable

Funny you should say that - at the training classes I help out at, there're two GSD-BC crosses both owned by the same people - the male wears a red collar and lead and the female has a blue collar and lead.

Funnily enough, a few people actually have mistaken Anton for a girl. Not sure how, condsidering he's pretty big and manly looking, though he does act like a big girl sometimes.

I get fed up with people referring to Ruby as "he" - OH says they probably just assume a big dog is a male but I find it irritating. I wouldn't dream of asking someone how their daughter was at football just because they wore blue

Well, that's just very inconsiderate, isn't it!
