Well,not quite the truth about all leave cancelled,rubber bullets !!....officers are calling the radio themselves...poor sods wot are they supposed to do?

Also,shopkeepers were told if they try and standup to them and anything happens to the rioters they will be the ones in trouble!!!

I'd bring in rubber bullets, water canons and the army to back up the police and fire brigade and if any of the yobs get hurt tough tittie, 'orrible little thieving mindless morons should get a taste of their own medicine.

The laws are different here but you can use 'reasonable force' which against a gang of however many leaves you....

You've lost me tbh, why would I stop paying council tax it's not the councils fault and what has it got to do with the banks?
If you get caught in the fire you die? from what I saw last night on tv the fires were mainly left to burn because the fire brigade were coming under attack everytime they attempted to approach burning buildings. We do have the resources and we ought to use them in force.
