some of the staff at PAH are right jobsworths - whenever we try to buy fish for our biorb - we get the 3rd degree about what we've got etc...well we only have a few coldwater shubumpkins (whatever they called) hubby gets really annoyed at getting lectured by some teenager about how many & what we should have. if we wanted advise on what we should have we would ask.
He refuses to buy them in there now as he can't cope with the interrigation! Not like we go through many, we have 5 & usually last a few years.

Hi,

Well done. So many people would havwe just accepted what he was saying and assumed he was more knowledgable than them.

Fortunately at PAH where I go, the staff aren't like that at all. Although now I buy most of my doggy stuff wholesale I don't go there that often anymore.

I'm afraid I'm with you on this one. The checkout guy wasn't trying to be helpful, he was trying to sell you "something" - nothing more, nothing less.

Idiot!

I have to be honest it's the first time they've been like that - it's normally a struggle to get help in our PAH, took me an hour to get them to sell me a bloody fish tank!! I dont mind people if they want to be helpful then be helpful rather than try to sell me a product I dont want.
