I have found a general number for Cumbria, so suggest Carol rings it and asks for the dog section - 0845 33 00 247.
Thanks. Going to take Ellie walkies in an hour, so will pass it on.

Carol just called. GSD rescue has a couple who want to rehome Ellie. It sounds great, the lady is home all day and has had Border Collies in the past and done agility with them. She recently lost her collie and wanted to try a new breed for agility, obedience etc. They have 2 acres of garden and a horse (which Ellie will have to be introduced too!) and lots of time to dedicate to her. Hopefully all will go well and Suzanne from GSD rescue has promised to support the couple with any problems they have and also keep in touch regularly for Ellie's lifetime. Fingers crossed this is going to be a happy ending!
