Bad new re Tonks' lump biopsies.

The vet said he was really shocked when he got the results back as three of the lumps were cancerous and it was three separate types of cancer.

Prognosis fair to guarded. He said she may be still be with us in two years but may not be. She'll be six in January.

Not really. Just take her to the vets as soon as there is any sign if any new bumps.

He said with her skin condition and lowered immune system that he doesn't recommend it at all.

Thank you.
With her lowered immune system and itchy skin radiotherapy is out of the question. Tbh though I'm not sure if I would do it anyway. It would seem so unfair to have a dog feeling that I'll about small children. The vet said the best thing we can do is watch here like a hawk for any further lumps and take her to him ASAP if we spot any. Take her off atopic, and increase her steroids....but as long as that keeps the itching at bay. If taking her off Atopica causes her to be incredibly itchy then she may have to go on it again, even tough it affects the body's response to cancer.
