Last month the bar posted a picture on its [a social network] page of a cocktail which contained liquid nitrogen called the Pornstar Martini.
Sold for £8.95 with a shot of champagne, the bar called it ‘amazing’.

According to the article I linked to in Message #5, ITV News named the bar as Oscar's, and there is a picture of it in that article.

Poor girl, she probably thought it was perfectly safe as it was on public sale.
I wonder if this is a case of too much nitrogen being used, possibly in the right amount it would have all evaporated before it could be drunk, too much, and you end up drinking the stuff.

I didn't read the link but my sister said it was Oscar's.

You really don't go somewhere like that and expect to be sold something so dangerous. I do hope she is ok. Must be horrendous for her, her family and her friends.

Cocktail bars are springing up all over Lancaster - seems to be the new thing at the moment.

Liquid Nitrogen - same thing thats used to freeze my sisters stem cells for when I need them:


Scary that they are using it with drinks :/
