Max, Jack Russell Terrier, DOB 09 – Gatwick, Surrey


Homing Requirements: Max needs a Terrier loving home to guide him and reassure him as he tries to settle 'yet again' into yet another home. Could live with another dog or two. Guidance around meeting 'intruders/visitors'. Not for live in children and supervised visiting children on intros.

His Story: Max was found abandoned and unclaimed. Fostered in a multi-dog household then homed in with another Jack Russell. Max jumped up and bit a neighbour leaning over the front fence and lost his home. In every other way he had been a star and made only one mistake. Neutered, chipped and vax'd. In boarding kennels near Gatwick, Surrey.

Advert: Max is a fluent and easy kinda guy. He needs reassurance and managed intros but is growing in confidence all the time. In Terrierrescue’s books, he is a great 'Jack', one you'll have a great deal of fun with and a true companion. Max is good with dogs outside and is proven to live with at least one other dog. Max is learning to relax and not take the responsibility on his shoulders. He is housetrained and delights in pleasing his owners. Very intelligent and trains well.

Max is a black and white JRT and is yes Black and White. He is easy to read and settles with trusted people around him once he is reassured about visitors and friends. In the right hands he is going to develop into an all singing, all dancing dog, just needs stability and a kind, patient regime. G8 Jack!
