recommendations for joint supplements please

Can anyone recommend a supplement for supple joints? I use glucosamine / chondroitin / msm but am not too satisfied with the current `brand`. I see Pedigree have a new one out - is it effective? (for young to ancient dogs)

I use Vetzyme High Strength Flexible Joint Supplements which I buy from Pets at Home - they come in 30's and 90's and they seem to do the trick for my 8 year old Irish Setter who has always been prone to a few joint problems from a young age. Another one that I have heard of is Flexadin which contains devils claw which is a mild anti-inflammatory (I think!). Good luck.

I use Syn-Flex (human) liquid for Roxy - it really helps.

I use Glyco.Flex III for my 12 year old retriever, my vet recommended this and he has 1 a day, it seems to help him a lot. Good luck.

I use Flexi Vet Start which you can buy online at Vet UK. It is glucosamine hcl and chondroitin. This plus omega oils has really made a difference to Sam. I have heard that the glucosamine has to be Hcl form to be effective for dogs. Sulphate won't do it.

I used to give my GSD synflex and she lived to 12 years old and it was only the last 5 months that her hips really deterioriated so the vet gave her cartrophen injections which gave her a new lease of life.

I give my rottie Cortaflex and swear by the stuff, he also wears a bio-flo collar (magnetic) and has done for 18 months now and no visits to the vet which is a miracle as far as Murphy is concerned lol
