today is day 58 post mating and our missy is refusing to eat today, no other signs apart from the fact that she growling at our other dog if he tries to get to close
hopefully this is the start of something or do you think she jest doing it to freak me out :smt101

My vet says up to 70 days is fine, as long as mum is ok, no signs of distress...........or if having a small/v.large litter, but I'm sure something will happen soon.

shes fine in herself, eating well, happy, just doesnt want them to come out!

You could take her for a ride in the car, that can get them started.

My bitch whelped on exactly day's 62 and 63. She showed no signs till about 3 hours before she actually gave birth.

For the last few days mind she was very touchy, nobody but me was allowed anywhere near her and as poor for Jas, he would only go to give her a lick and she would growl at him. He used to take it all in his stride though.
