my 2 are raw fed and when they were little they loved all fruit, now they are quite selective but enjoy a banana every lunchtime with a nice bone. they used to eat the skin but now they just tread on it to squish the inside out and eat it that way. They have a desertspoonful of pureed veg with their food which consists of brocolli, cauli, carrot, apple and a tin of tomatoes and they always eat their veg first. They also have raw carrot as a sort of plaything as dogs cannot digest cellulose unless it is pureed, so anything like whole carrot goes right the way through.

I wouldn't say I feed them banana but every time I eat one I tend to get mugged..Sam knocks it out of my hand and Rufus eats it when it hits the floor!!! They never seem any the worse for it!

That's good to know that bananas are, in fact, ok for dogs! I'm pleased about that. Molly can have a wee bit of one every now and again then.

Didn't know that you could give the skin too, YUCK. Mine love them though, although I've never tried the skin!

I don't care much for bananas myself, however I was making a smoothie the other day and dropped a piece, little cheech was all over it, as well as Piper, Chong just looked at them like they had lost their mind because he was, of course, too GOOD for a banana haha
