Good Luck Pheasant

Some of you may remember me talking about a pheasant with a broken leg before that I was looking after till it was healed
Well today I decided to let him go as the bone is healed now
I let him go beside my garden as there is a big field he can go into and they dont shoot pheasants too close to here also I put food out for other pheasants ,so he might hang around here

Here is a few pics of him before I let him go

and when he went down he went into a bush that my son uses as a den (note the toys)

I hope he will get on ok
Good Luck Mr Pheasant

thanks everyone
I was out a while after he was let go and there was no sign of him so he must have wandered off into the long grass at the side of the field ,I will know him if I see him again as he has a limp as the bone healed a bit squint
who knows perhaps he will meet up with the female pheasant I let go here a while back ,she needed nursed back to health after getting stuck in the corner of a field and in the panic to get out some other pheasants scalped her ,poor thing you could see her skull but the vet was able to staple skin over it and she made a full recovery too
