Dog DNA Test??

I am very interested in what breed of dog I have, I really have no clue.

I came a cross a dog DNA test and thought it sounded really cool! But I went and had a look at the breeds they test for and I couldn't find the one he is supposed to be a mix of.

I was told he was a Huntaway cross, which is a New Zealand farm dog, it's recognized by the NZKC but not the AKC.

So, I was wondering what it might come up with if they don't recognize the breed that he supposedly has in him - would it come up with what the Huntaway dogs were originally bred from - what were they bred from? Whats your opinion on DNA tests? or do you know of one that tests for that breed?
