Have come home with 45g of tumeric, looked at the recipe and its saying half a cup (125mls) there is nowhere near half a cup of tumeric and how on earth do you get 125mls (which is liquid measure) of dry powder.

Hope photoshoots went well trailers looking good and hope Zen has left her kennel alone.
Awwww griff I hope you are mis reading things.

Turned out lovely and sunny and had a nice day with Beth we went to Heacham and the Norfolk lavender attraction.
No more offers on the car while out and no news from the woman who was meant to come yesterday.
Oh well we have steak and ale pies with coleslaw and potato salad, strawberries and cream or big meringues for tea all from the farm shop at the Norfolk lavender place.
Thought I would treat Gorden he loves meringue it has been a very tough week for the lecturers this week.

Yeah that tea sounds gorgeous Lynn. Just switch off for the weekend now and treat yourselves, both of you have had a tough week one way or another. If someone comes on for the car, thats fine,if they don't, well not the end of the world. I found Autotrader a good place to sell my car and bought a couple off there as well, may be worth checking it out.
Have ordered some organic tumeric online, I've not bought enough obviously, never thought to check quantities, because I'm stupid like that, probably not go enough black pepper either. Poor Zen, I'm not being much use to her am I

You'll get there black peppercorns are best if you have a grinder do them in there or with a pestle and mortar.

Saw it in Home Bargains with a grinder thingy, so got that at least, and have the right quantity by the looks of it.I've got a third of the tumeric needed, so maybe if I cut the recipe to a third I could make a small amount for her??? then again doubt it would work because the amount I made would be tiny and probably burn the pan that I've bought to make it in
