Tizzy - Staffy x Pup

Tizzy is a 9 week old Staffie x and is currently on foster near Usk, Monmouthshire.



We are unsure what Tizzy and her sisters are crossed with but potential new homes should be aware that we think they are likely to be on the larger side of medium!



Tizzy is a proper little busybody. She never stays still long enough to get a good photo. She had a short taste of the big outdoors today, but after taking a bit too much interest in the chickens, she started shivering, and had to be returned to the warmth of her bed.



If Tizzy is still in foster after next week, when her brother and sisters leave, her fostereer will be able to make a proper start on toilet training, and a bit of fun clicker-training. Her fosterer thinks that she will turn out to be quite a bright dog.



Tizzy now regularly mixes with other dogs and has been taught by them to be polite





All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered (if over 6 months), vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and micro-chipped prior to adoption. If a puppy is not old enough to be neutered then this must be carried out at the owners expense when old enough, and the relevant form completed by the vet and returned to Hope Rescue. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. Since her brother and sisters left, Tizzy has been learning a lot of lessons. As an only pup, she is now spending much less time in her puppy pen, and much more learning how to behave in the house, and around the other dogs.



She is living with an assortment of dogs - a 14 year old Papillon, a 13 year old Shih-Tzu matriarch, a 13 year old Collie cross, and a three year old Collie bitch. The older ones want little to do with her, and are teaching her quite firmly how to be respectful, but my youngest has taken a shine to her and they have started to play together.




Tizzy is now fully vaccinated and is out and about meeting other dogs and being fully socialised to the outside world and loving every second of it
