Richmond Show...

...at Loseley Park.

Is anyone going tomorrow? I would love to put faces to some of those Dogsey names.

Good luck all - we are there on Sunday

Both daughters in their first semi-finals Junior Handling Association - so have to be there at the crack of dawn!

Hoping the handling doesn't clash with Connor's breed classes - but bet it does!

I will be there, I am only taking Rufus, Kia came into season yesterday! I am not really looking forward to it, the weather forecast is for rain and wind, again! I'm just grateful we are on the first day, I dread to think what it will be like on Saturday and Sunday. Good luck to everyone who is going.

Just got back, boy was it muddy and wet!

Sorry I didn't come and find you Dogsey folk but I was getting soaked just going between the Elkhound tent (I went with an friend) and the Affenpinscher tent.

I got to do my first handling! The Elkhound bitch I was showing got 2nd in her class (so what if there was only 2 dogs in the class ).

Despite the abysmal weather I really enjoyed it; I'm going to go off and see what I can enter Gozo for so, fingers crossed, I'll get to show my own dog next time!

Hi

Mother*ship, well done on your 2nd

Can I just ask how muddy?

I'm ment to be going tomorrow, but I really don't want to spend the day mud skiing!!!! Or get the car stuck in the car park again
Hope everybody else had a good day

Thanks Lucy, seriously muddy, I'm afraid! It was normally muddy when we got there but after several hours of torrential rain it was a mud swamp. Saw several cars struggling to get out of the car park. The forecast for tomorrow is yet more rain so don't forget your wellies and waterproofs if you go.

I decided not to enter and boy I'm glad I didn't now. It's been raining all day and meant to be worse tomorrow.
i'm judging instead handling classes. Unfortunately though it will now be indoors so I lose my lovely big ring to play in
Good luck to everyone going.

We've got three entered tomorrow, but I'm not looking forward to it - especially if we're stuck in tiny wet weather rings where the dogs can barely take two or three strides before turning.
If it didn't cost so much I'd be tempted to stay in bed.
