all teeth out - update

Hi everyone,

Off to see the dentist today at 3.55pm. I have got to have pics taken of my smile as it is now for reference for the set of dentures.

I am off on holiday on 28th July for one week, when I get back the dentist will start removing my teeth, all the lower ones first. If all goes well, I should have a new smile by Christmas

I hope that it doesn't affect the M.E. too much, but don't worry if you don't hear from me too often, I will need alot of rest.

Will keep you all updated.

Thank you everyone. It went OK.

I am having all 11 back teeth out on 11th August (1 week after my holiday). I will then be having teeth out every 3 weeks or so depending on how I cope, heal and the M.E. reacts.

Once all the teeth are out, I have to go with no teeth at all for 6 months to let the gums settle and heal for a proper denture fitting. So, unfortunately, I wont have any teeth over christmas. I hope I don't scare Santa away

I think that is going to be the hardest part, I will not be able to eat any solid food for 6 months. But hey, You can melt chocolate, can't you .

I am going to enjoy my holiday, relax with hubby and Buster and then I will be totally prepared for the 11th August.

Goodness, what a lot to go through, but in the end it will all be worth it. I hope you have a wonderful holiday, and that the treatment then goes OK for you. xx
