what digital camera do you use?

I am wanting to get a new camera, a digital one, as I am using the camera on my phone currently. I would like a good quality one with zoom and flash.

So what do you use and would you recommend it?

thanks

Mel x

Depends on how much you want to spend, go for an SLR if you can afford it.

Depends on you budget, but if you are only going to be taking snaps of family and dogs and other things an SLR might not be for your. The cybershot cameras from sony are good but I am not sure of the current range.

I bought mine from Amazon which was 25% cheaper than in the shops.
Great camera Olympus 700 all weather (meaning its waterproof). Easy to use, dont need war & peace to figure it out.

I've got the Kodak Easyshare DX4530, which was reduced from £200 quid when I bought it 4 years ago. Got another Kodak for Christmas the W002XE but I don't like it, it's smaller, lighter and the pictures are blurred sometimes, so I've gone back to the original. I like the Kodak software, nice and easy to use and got everything on it. I can't cope with paint shop pro, I stick to the Kodak. I'd like an SLR, so if you've got the money try and go for one of those, they take superb shots!

I had a Sony Cybershot, a compact you might say, fitted in your pocket.
I got rid of it, cos there was always a delay when I wanted to take a quick action snap, keep this in mind if you choose a small compact camera.

Yep action shots dont turn out very often if using a digital compact. I have a Canon Powershot A620- I would love to get a Digi SLR but dont have a spare £500.00 just now. If your budget is £150.00-there are loads of nice Digital compacts on the market for that price- check Argos- or Amazon- I got mine from Amazon...Best prices

I have 2 cameras a Kodak Easyshare Z740 and a sony handycam not sure of the model. The Kodac is about 2 years old and takes much better photos than the sony which is newer and was more expensive.
