The tinned Chappie is brilliant but I personally would not use the dried as it has too much filler and the preservative they use is considered carcergenic.

Any food that suits your dog is the best and that is different for each dog.

I have a few tins for emergencies, and for the odd "oh crap ran out of raw" moments. But wouldnt feed it full time...smell makes me heave!

Me too

My dogs turn their noses up at it too and they're not usually fussy eaters !!

My old dog was on the tins most of her life and she lived to 19!! And was really healthy and fit until the last 3 months of her life

Shadow always did really well on Chappie. I can't feed it Rupert because of the cereals in it and because it gives him the most horrendous upset stomachs.

I wouldn't feed it regularly even if I could though. Not unless I'd tried all the high quality foods and raw and none of them worked for my dog anyway.

Not great food but it works well for dogs with funny tummys as it is very bland (so my dog refuses to eat without meat).

After much trial and error with Kia when we first got her (most foods went straight through her and she turns her nose up at dried foods ), I tried her on tinned Chappie and we've never looked back! She does so well on it - good weight, good poo's and a lovely glossy coat which gets her lots of compliments! The vet is also happy with her so we won't be changing any time soon!

Mya's doing well so far on the dry chicken and rice, she has a small amount of wet mixed in too. Fingers crossed it helps with her weight as she gets so much exercise I'm stumped if it doesn't help

I used to feed Chappie Complete 3 or 4 years back and my dogs did excellently on it, so did my ex's dog and he was worried her energy levels would suffer (they didnt).

I still buy the odd tin of wet Chappie to give them a change or I use it to fill Kongs with.

I have just started to feed my Grey Niamh on Chappie Dry Mix, it helps her tummy and has firmed up her poops. I was advised to use this to put a little weight on her as she was a little "Ribby" when I got her.
