Using a furminator on a Chi.

My short haired Chihuahua sheds so much hair, would a furminator be any good or should I just stick to combing him and hoovering the carpet, sofa and my clothes a coule of times a day? Any info would be great.

A furminator is good for removing undercoat. If it's top coat you are losing, then use a zoom groom

Hi it's both really, I have never known a dog shed so much I give him a really good comb every day and the comb is full of fluff then I go over him with a brush which is always full of hairs. He's still shedding quiet a lot I thought it'd stop a bit during the summer.
