No sulkiness is when they take themselves off and do their own thing, unless of course they are asleep. To get them out of their sulkiness do something completely random, like singing and dancing they soon want to join in.

Are you sure nothing has changed as of late? (I.E you being extra busy for some reason and not being able to be around your dog as much as you used to?)

It could just be that your dog is showing you that it misses you and wants to shower you with love.

How long has this behavior been going on? And has it always been like this or has it come up as a result of a change? Details would be awesome.

I think she's just wanting to be close to you for reassurance. I read all the dominant behavioural stuff about dogs sitting you and it just doesn't sit right (excuse the pun ) with my jackapoo. She is highly strung, intelligent and anxious in nature and properly cuddles in to me; I really feel she just loves being close.
