How does your dog react to their reflection?

Moss loves his reflection. He spent a good 15 minutes play bowing at himself in a pet shop with a full length mirror while we were looking at harnesses. He spends ages gazing at himself in the window if it's dark and the curtains are open, twitching his head and occasionally trying to get windowMoss to play chase.

Emmie met her reflection today and went beserk! Hackles right up, ears back, teeth out, barking and snarling. We turned the mirror round and she the ran around, searching the room for herself! How dare that stupid looking dog bark at her!!

How do yours react?

Edit: the title should say reflection! Oops!

Mine dont notice neither, I often try and get them to look through the mirror but they just dont seem to be able to see anything that interests them.

I have pretty much the same reaction when I look at myself in the mirror though.

Mine all ignore their reflection, worries. However my youngest daughter's Pomeranian/Chihuahua refuses to go into the bathroom because of the "other dog" in the mirror.

My Poppy ignores mirrors but she does seem to be fascinated by herself on webcam when I'm talking to my grandsons. She keeps touching the image of herself on the screen!

I train at Stonham barns where 1 1/2 walls are mirrors(very scary)I first took Cuba there when she was about 11weeks, where she ran up to the far mirrors woofed at herself and that was that. But its very interesting watching dogs that are encountering the mirrors for the first time........and its not so good looking at youself but it makes you very aware of all the body signals you are using if you work your dog facing them... very scary
