great pics, I can't imagine that many collies together, but they are probably not as barmy as my collie Betty, I just have visions of several versions of her running around......

Thanks Yes, Reah is fine, Steph just didn't want her to over do it. She wasn't that happy when we left without her though!

Thanks MissE - it was such a relaxing afternoon (except for a small tiff between two of mine )

Reah was so funny when I went to leave. After she'd been left behind once, when Steph came out to say goodbye to me, Reah stood smack in front of her like 'right, you're not going anywhere without me this time'

It is a lovely place Elaine, Ben and Poppy would have a blast, particularly with Bruce and Skye to play with. Would be great to see you next year too.

they are all barmy in their own special ways but Steph and I have been saying how 'breedist' all our dogs are - they get on with other collies better than any other breed and will put up with much more from another collie than they would from any other breed.

Thanks Vicki, it was such a nice afternoon (and so relaxing for us as we didn't have to go far - Steph's FS entertained the dogs for most of the afternoon)

You could be on to something there about Collies putting up with much more from their own breed there is a rather grumpy female Collie who goes in the park, even the owner says she won't mix she doesn't like other dogs, but Betty was fascinated with her and kept going up trying to make friends, and she won her over in the end and now the other Collie is really pleased to see Betty and is also fine with Brinley. But although Betty likes other dogs she is mainly friendly with the little dogs in the park, and has never befriended a bigger dog before, so I think there is something about Collies liking each other!
