Lacey, that must have been so scary! That is why they insist on new head stones here having metal supports in them, the council also go round checking them for stability, they have a special thing that applies a certain amount of presure, if your headstone fails it has a stake placed behind it and metal straps put round with a notice informing you it has failed and you need to repair / replace it. When i get back tomorrow i will try to pist some pictures so you will see what i mean
