Hello fellow dog lovers
Hi, just discovered this site and found it very interesting! I have two dogs, Brad who will be 10 this year, he suffers from epilepsy and arthritis and Jess, a rescue dog who we have had for 6 months, she is approx 11-12 months old, we think she is a spaniel/collie cross.
Brad has spent over 5 months ignoring Jess but since she has come in season he thinks she is fantastic!! Having lots of "fun" keeping them apart! Will be having Jess spayed in about 3 months.
My husband and I love going caravanning especially as this means we can take our dogs on holiday with us. (haven't got a reliable dog sitter anyway!)
I belong to the Canine Epilepsy Support Group and have had lots of great info and help from them regarding Brads illness. He is now off the pheno barbitone and taking Skullcap and Valerian tincture. Luckily my vet is open to suggestions and supported this move. Brad also has acupuncture at the vets for his arthritis and is moving alot better since starting it.
Jess can be a little monster! She tends to chew everything but she is so lovely you can forgive her anything! She has trouble with recall if there is an interesting stick or smell but is pretty good most of the time.
