I feel for you Snorri, my parents can't get out and about in this sort of weather as they're both disabled. Luckily they've got my 2 brothers and other family close by to get stuff in for them. I'm out in the middle of nowhere with snow up to my knees and roads that are just sheets of ice. Good job my hubby isn't deployed or I'd be living on chocolate and crisps as that's all our local shop has in.

I'm appalled by the lack of empathy and consideration shown by some people on this thread. Just move...

i feel sorry for you snori BUT did take offence of only an idiot would like this snow cos i LOVE the snow and yes i work, have 4 kids and 4 dogs and 2 ponies to keep fed so it is difficult for me as well(although not comparing with you) but even so i still love it but def not an idiot!
