Booster jabs query

I have just phoned to book Zak in for his boosters which i have to admit are well over due. The lady said because they are over 3 months late I have to start again ie have one jab then go back and have the second like puppies do, has any body else heard of this. The only reason I am so late is because Zak gets so worked up about it and ends up going for the vet so its not a nice experience for any of us....Or could it be a rouse to get more money??

How old is Zak and how many boosters has he had? I had one vet try and pull a fast one like that and I said no I just want the booster so that's what she did but wrote that she wouldn't guarantee it it was still accepted by the kennels!

I too would ask for just a booster then I wouldn't booster again for three years then never again after that.

I'd ask for a booster only, have just had my rescue dog boosted as I know he hadn't had one for at least 3 years & he'd moved area & my vet was very happy to do a booster only. If he's still with us in 3 years (he's 12 now) he'll have another one. Again agreed to by the vet.

I have started only boostering my dogs every 3 years, so would insist on a booster only.
