It certainly is a relief Eileen but nearly had a heart failure myself when I received an email from my vet for the cost of treatment but she is more than worth it, just glad she is still with us and hopefully the operation will go well too x

Good to hear that things are going to plan with your girl.
Unfortunately the bill is always a bit of a shock
Hope things continue to progress and the surgery goes well when the time comes xx

Thank you Susannah and yes, I knew the treatment was going to be expensive and the fact that the vet came to my house 3 times as well but no doubt it would have cost even more back in the UK... Don't really care, what ever the cost is to treat my furry babes is worth it.. they are my children Just can't get the surgery out of my head, so worried about the anesthetic but we will pray that all goes well xxx

I expect you have tried this but as she is eating well could you feed her in the car so she gets used to it or is she to heavy to lift every time? Maybe a ramp would help or sofa/settee cushions to step up into car?

Brenda, she weighs 65 kg !!! we will start trying it with a ramp as soon as she is fully recovered and just try and entice her with tripe.. they all would "kill" for that otherwise we just have to use "brute force" when it's time to have to op done.. .. she used to go into my ford KA and just stepped in but I have a Ford tourneo now ( specially for the dogs ) and of course it's a bit higher and different..
