Ah I see. Hope I didn't offend by asking. It is always good when a vet will help you and knows you. Hope she gets better very soon.

Glad to hear that there might be a way forward without
immediate surgery. You will feel more secure tomorrow when the vet sees your girl and she gets started on the treatment.
Hope you see some improvement soon - all the best xx

Vet has been and confirmed that it is pyometra.. so first injection has been done and the next one tomorrow.. anti biotics as well.. she seems ok in herself but still din't want to come for a walk this morning..
has had sausages and burgers for dinner last night with a small amount of dry food.. just glad she ate a bit.
not very nice as it is but even worse as it is 40 degrees today..
Will keep you updated but feeling a bit more positive now

Hi Eva you may be doing this already but I would wring a towel out in cool water and place on her neck to cool her down.
Poor old girl, she is doing well to eat, that is a good sign .

Hi Meg, keep washing her off with iced water and got the aircon on for her too.. She seems quite ok in herself thankfully and I will hose her back end a bit tonight once the sun goes down a bit. She needs a bit of a clean up anyway.. Can't believe the smell... :P
