Yay, we passed our silver kennel club award

I'm so thrilled I just had to share our brilliant news....
Bailiie and me just got back from training after venturing out in the wind and sleet - I was thinking I was mad going to training tonight but I'm so pleased we went .
We were in a class with two of us doing silver and three doing gold - the road walks weren't brilliant in the gales and blizzards but never mind, we did it. Bailiie bravely let the assessor handle her though she was very nervous but no grumbles and all went well; the in and out of the car was good as too was the recall. I was very nervous when it came to the 2 minute stay as that's what Bailiie messed up last time , but staying for 4 minutes at home has been a great test and well worth doing . The questions went well as did the meet and greet and coming away from distractions then it was a waiting game as the gold doggies did their bits.
We all gathered together and Rachel the assessor opened with "most of the dogs aren't quite ready yet (a polite way for saying you've failed) but I can say we have just one certificate to give out (I thought it belonged to a gold doggy) and it goes to Bailiie".
I cheered and everyone clapped us as we received our certificate
I'm so thrilled with my little Bailiie - she did it
I thought we'd move onto agility next but our trainer has strongly suggested we go for gold so that's what we'll do, yikes
Changing our training school has paid off - we've cracked this in just 8 weeks

Ello HUGE WELL DONE. I know how hard you have worked to achieve this! Yes, we have betsy's on tuesday, having postponed it once because stupid human managed to hurt her ankle!

Nervous about Betsy's, worried about "meeting a friendly stranger" bit! (problem is she is too friendly but most of the time contains herself and keeps paws on the ground...lets see how it goes :P) apart from that we should be ok

Thats fantastic, we have passed bronze, and are doing silver at the moment. I m not sure we will pass first time !
