Lovley boy!

By looking at his head and bone, hes definatly more spitz than chow. He does have the mane that the chows have but other than that, i personally cant see anyhthing more chow in him than that

thank you ... he is a challenge thats for sure! I adopted him from animal rescue, they know for sure his mom was a german spitz cuz she was given up with her pups, I think they guessed dad was a chow just becuz he has the black/purple tounge.

Hi,

I would say that quite possibly he is more Eurasier than german spitz (Eurasiers being keeshond/chow with a bit of samoyed in them originally). German spitz are relatively rare in the US so it's doubtful that mum was a GS. Eurasiers also have the purple tounge.

How tall is he - GS are either 9 to 11.5 inches (klien), 12 to 15 inches (mittel) or 15 - 18 inches (gross). The gross however is not know really outside germany very much.

He's very handsome whatever he is though.
