What a shock! I am so sorry to read this Claire! He was so lucky to have you. Without your love and care his life would have ended not so happily and much longer ago. Hugs!

We had a lovely afternoon in spite of the heat (hottest day of the year!)
There were classes

and activities

a bit of agility and a lot of standing about in the shade jawing.

some posh dogs

and some scruffy ones (this is Bentley who needs a home when his broken leg is healed)

and lots of happy rehomed Rescues.

but the most popular spot was the paddling pool...

I awarded The Razzle Shield to a lady who had brought her terrified Rescue out into the light.
Massive thanks to Gill from Crofters and the Southend RSPCA.
We raised £130+ towards the vet bill. Not far to go now.
But most importantly, it was a tribute to a wonderful dog.

Gill Lewis of Crofters Kennels Rayleigh, who took him in after the Council / RSPCA seized the dogs, is having a Fun Day at the kennels in honour of Razzle on August 18th, 12 - 4. If anyone wants to come (doggy activities etc) please pm me as parking is limited and we need to know how many cars.
She is instituting an annual Razzle Cup for Best Rescue - and I`m judging it this time. He won`t be forgotten.
What a wonderful tribute to a very special dog
