This is the message off the owner of Storm today:-

I would just like to clarify a few things with regard to re-homing
Storm. Firstly he is not a stud dog, he is not approved for
breeding by the society and has only one testicle at present.Anyone
who has a bitch is closely related to Pawnee Ammik ( Julie's stud )
would be too closely related to Storm anyway.

Secondly Storm is for sale not adoption, we are doing this purely so
that we can be sure the new owners are serious and responsible and
we have not got a price set in stone , it is negotiable and NOT to
make money on our part.

We have forced the issue with our landlord who will now have to go
to court to evict us , we would sooner be evicted than let Storm go
to the wrong home and are determined to find the right person to
give Storm the permanent , loving home he deserves, he really is a
fantastic dog.

Regards

Steve

( thanks to Nora ooops Laura for all her help lol )

I thought it appropriate to post as I do think the owner is not a bad person and is just as most of you would understand having great difficulty letting Storm go.

Whatever Steve is doing with Storm, that's down to him. I do know that Steve took Storm on as a rescue and paid very little, if anything, for him. Whatever he sells Storm for will be a profit to him.

Yes, my daughter has a happy ending eventually, but Steve could of been a bit more forthcoming with the truth and it would of saved a lot of heartache for Ash.

As Steve has wrote in his email, Storm IS NOT up for adoption, he is for sale, the dog should not have been posted on a forum that's for private re-homes, again, Steve being rather shy with the truth I don't blame you for any of this Laura as I'm not sure how much you've known about all of this (other than conjecture and hearsay)

ive just seen this thread and all i can say is im absolutley fuming.

i cant comment about anyone involved personally, but from what ive read this seems to be all about money and nothing about storm. I feel for you metz, ive been there before but IMO this person doesnt deserve the companionship of a lovely dog like storm.

IMO anyway

As it now seems that Storm is for sale, I will now lock this thread.

Additional Note:

Just to clarify, that Luz had no knowledge that this dog was in fact for sale, when she first posted this.

On a positive note, Storm has now found a new home
