I too am very happy that Taos has found a forever home, brilliant! Bit dumbstruck that she has been rehomed with 4 cats as I was told they wouldn't consider letting me have any of the Inuits with my 2 cats - I did get the feeling there was more too it but at least Taos has a happy ending and I have my new GSD girl who has settled in very well and having a great time with Maisie her friend from next door. Good on you Taos, keep up the human training - they always get there in the end!

I have to say, even having been owned by GSD's throughout my life, that Taos is just one of the most amazing dogs I've ever come across.
OK there's been the odd 'sock' incident but in reality he hasn't put a single paw wrong
I really didn't know quite what to expect when he came home. Given the 'life' (sic) that he'd had at the 'breeder' previously (GRRRRRRRR!) before Sylvia and team at Many Tears threw him a lifeline he's just adapted and adjusted and taken everything in his stride.
Everyone in the village knows him already, they all look out for him and he's slowly but surely getting them all trained to carry doggie treats!!!!
We have some mobile homes near to the house where Taos has made a number of new friends, human and canine! One of the ladies there paid him such a compliment when she was up over this weekend... "oh my god he's soooo different. He was so sad when you first got him home.... Now he has a wonderful bounce in his step as he moves along.... He's like a different dog..."
His Daddy has a new bounce in his step too... and thats all down to Taos
