It does sound like appendicitis to me...has she definately had her appendix out? Could be a urinary infection too. Tummy pains can be awful though and I'm sure the hospital will sort her out pretty quickly.
Hope she's feeling better soon

Yes it does sound like it doesn't it bellaluna, bet that is what it is or it could be an ovarian cyst (I have had one of them and if they twist they are excruciatingly painful and can give you peritonitis if not operated on immediately)

Her mum just rung me, they are doing tests as we speak, she still in a lot of pain and is now on a drip

it could be bowel/bladder maybe some kind of infection.
let her know we send our best and hope she is feeling better soon.
