It's true - at the rescue we struggle with black dogs - we even have campaigns for people to consider black dogs and cats! I think they're gorgeous.

One problem I do have with Timmi is getting a good photo - he'll often merge into the background or himself and I don't think that helps when it comes to rehoming them...

It's often said that middle-sized black dogs are notoriously hard to rehome in rescues. It's so sad as I think they're gorgeous. Axel was virtually brown when he came to us but once his kennel coat had come out, he was shiny and sleek - except the odd bit of dandruff

see I've heard black dogs arent as popular, and can never understand why, i absolutely love them!! (especially my flatcoats!)

although not mine, i worked with them every day for 2 years, and still see them now, so i think i can post pictures of them

the gorgeous remi she's one of my favourites (dont tell the others!) i was there when she was born and helped raise her. she is full of character and i love her!
