Anal glands

About a week ago I noticed an awful smell coming from Nanuq's bottom and even after washing it was still there.

After googling, I realised it could be her anal glands. A trip to the vet on Tuesday confirmed this, and he did the necessary to express them

Anyway, the smell doesn't seem to be going and I've been cleaning her and it still comes back.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for the smell to go?

He also gave her a course of antibiotics. Would you wait until these are finished before going back to the vets?

About 3 weeks ago Otis had the same problem with his anal glands. He had antibiotics and fucidin cream and it's only now looking ok. Maybe wait a little longer before going back to the vets. I'm sure it will get better xx
