How to cancel Ebay order-URGENT!

My dear mother, totaly computer illiterate, was looking at something on Ebay..and clicked but it now, and has ended up purchasing this item-but hyas yet too pay for it through paypal, how can she cancel it?
Is it possible?

She needs to email the seller immediately and tell them it was a mistake and see if they will be able to cancel the purchase. They might do it if they are nice.

Luke, I think if you email the seller and explain they should be able to cancel the deal. They may not be too happy but I'm sure if you explain they will understand. As long as your mum hasn't gone onto paypal and paid then you won't be out of pocket.

See she didnt do that..thank lord, she had it up..and thats when i noticed what she was doing-i tell you she's unsafe!

Hopefully you'll get it sorted for her Luke.

Normally sellers on there are pretty good and are quite understanding. I had to retract a bid once for an item. I put in a maximum bid of 4K I had to email ebay and ask them to retract it so I could put in my real maximum bid

Thankfully they let me

Sellers are usually used to people making mistakes on bids so understand that it happens and is easy to make a mistake on the buy it now auctions.

No need to email ebay. The seller should sort it out for you. They may take a day to get back to you but if you havent heard anything by Thursday i would email them again

Luke, I just feel sorry for your Mum, she sounds like me, my son says I "have the dexterityof a dead badger" when on the computer
