Cancer detection

Dogs really are amazing.

They can be trained to assist the blind, the deaf and to detect cancer, epilepsy etc.

I remember research being done to see if they could break down what exactly it is that the dogs detect in the scent of cancer patients to see if a mechanical sniffer device could do the same job. As far as I know, they are still researching but haven't come up with a solution yet
