So would you just suppliment with an all round vitamin to make sure you were covering them all if you were feeding raw or do people mix and match what they 'think' they need to give their dog? I am curious about feeding raw so I was just wondering!

I supplement with a powder containing Vit.E, Vit.C, Brewers yeast, & Dolomite. They are also given Kelp, plus a variety of foods including fish, eggs, offal, fruit, veg., etc. The idea being to provide a balanced diet over several days, not to try & provide a balanced meal every single day.

There are a lot of internet sites & forums dedicated to feeding raw.

The first thing I noticed when I started supplementing my dogs with vits was the grey hairs stopped! Theirs not mine
At that time they were being fed on the Pitcairn diet, it is a healthy powder that is suitable for any type of diet you are feeding them, if anyones interested I can post the ingredients of it for you to make yourself.
Christine.

Ok here`s Pitcairns healthy powder, it may also be adde to commercial food as follows ; 1-2 teaspoons per day for cats & small dogs; 2-3 teaspoons per day for medium -size dogs; 1-2 tablespoons per day for large dogs.

2 cups nutritional(torula) yeast
1 cup lecithin granules
Quarter cup kelp powder
Quarter cup bonemeal(or 9,000 milligrams calcium or 5 teaspoons eggshell powder)
1,000 milligrams vitamin C(ground) or quarter teaspoon sodiun ascorbate(optional)
A;so add vit E, either from natural source capsules or wheatgerm oil.
Enjoy
