Homing Requirements: Alfie needs stability and people who can invest in his future by attending a training course and bring Alfie into a family which is centred around his needs. Alfie needs a secure garden or access to a secure exercise area. Alfie is fine with caged small furries & feather, but not brilliant with cats! He could also settle alongside another dog if his owners have bull breed experience to offer or are used to managing more than one dog.

His Story: Alfie was losing his home and a friend of a friend contacted Amy via [a social network] and the rest is history. Alfie came into our rescue. Amy was thinking about keeping him, but her circumstances are not right for a dog at the moment. Alfie is now neutered, chipped and vax'd. Alfie is in foster in Dormansland, near Lingfield, Surrey.

Advert: Alfie what's it all about?! Alfie has lived with a caged bird and a hamster. Alfie has also been fostered with cats but they are not natural partners. Alfie walks well on the lead and meets most dogs well with a touch of play. Given the chance he will love to run and play - he plays noisily when he is having fun. He is settling and being left for periods. He travels well and meets and greets visitors well too.

Alfie is a Staffie X who is just coming up to one year old. He has a large Staffie head and soft Staffie eyes and smile. He is white with brindle patches. Alfie is calming down as he settles and is remarkably calm for a 1 year old bull breed ... perhaps he needs to let his fur down a little once he finds his feet which will be fun!
