OMG, the new tele is huge!!!!!!!

OMG, the new tele turned up today and it's huuuuuuuuuuuuuge! It's fantastic though and 40" widescreen is amazing

LOL, ours arrived on Sat. The same size screen as before but with a smaller surround so ours feels smaller!!! Amazing picture though so really pleased with it.Have you got HD too?

This is unbelievable as we've gone from 28" CRT to 40" LCD We haven't got HD yet but OH is now talking about a Blue Ray DVD which will be HD

I wouldn't let my OH go bigger than a 32"....We don't sit far enough away from the screen, I would get a crick in my neck turning from side to side!! I'm not going to let him see this thread!

I remember when we first got a 32 " tv I got a headache watching it...any headaches with the 40?

The way our front room is, it sits in a corner so to be honest it's a good view from anywhere in the room. It isn't really imposing either because it's flat so although it's massive, you don't feel it's in your face if you know what I mean. If it had to sit flat against the wall, it would be too big for the room but is fine corner wise. I'll have to post a pic.

My head's been aching all day so don't think it's the tele but the size of the screen certainly takes a bit of getting used to
