Saturday 17th December 2022

Morning all. A wee bit chilly outside. I have been getting back to my childhood by watching Mallory Towers. Have a good day.

Good morning Brenda. enjoy your review of your childhood.

It was raining a bit when I got up but the ice is still about. Not quite as cold today but forecast to get colder later.

Take care everyone

Afternoon brenda, Sue and all to follow.
It was very cold earlier when Gorden left to drop brothers present off, he went while I finished the Christmas bits, then it will be table re-jigging from cabin to indoors now he is home.
It was so cold yesterday we had to leave at 6.35 am to get to Mark and Lauren by 7.30, Mark was already at work and Lauren wasn't long after we got there and she left.
She is making up hours for the time she had to take when we had covid and couldn't look after Freya.
It was an earlier finish time though as Mark was home by 4.30 pm.
He treated us to the large bottle of -20 screen wash as the shop had a delivery but he said the delivery was all sold by the time he left. He was saying the shop looked like it had been ram raided for anti freeze and screen wash earlier in the week.

Barry hoping the eye test works in your favour and well done on the door bell you saved a few pennies.
Sue hope you're getting a rest today.
brenda it must be so hard not hearing from your daughter.
Kazz that was a lovely gesture from the eatery you went to especially as they are feeling the pinch. Guess they are thinking you will make a recommendation, so worth while them giving the discount.
griff your coat sounds lovely. Don't blame you waiting to see what Steve does with the car before hard wiring the camera.
Chris what a nightmare for you regarding the scooter battery. I agree with Kazz the engineer sounds erratic.

Heartbreaking Lynn. No one who knows me and her can understand why? I think it is someone else's influence.

Brenda, I know how hard you have tried.....heck I even tried lol....the only other option available to you is a welfare check but we know she will say she is fine....so probably not worth pursuing. I really am very sad for you and tbh.....I will happily go knock her door for you.
Lynn, Halfords was mental when we went the other day, literally everyone was leaving with screenwash. I should get some for dad I suppose
Sue, hopefully the ice will vanish soon
I have bought mum and dad a ring doorbell and sorted a subscription for the year, I don't need to worry about them now

Yes we all thought that to so made a join decision we ordered our drinks separately from the main bill and drank more than we normally would couple of fancy coffees and then a hot chocolate for me alone x by 7 other people and we got a 25% discount but gave the 25% to the two young girls who served us after checking by another friend of mine who used to work in hospitality that the staff got shared the tips. But a lovely meal out all in all and would recommend simply because for service and food

Hopefully common sense will prevail. After all your lovely posts about going away, Harry Potter etc you seemed so unbreakable. "Hugs"
