Wonderful REX

Rex

Rex is a beautiful male labx of 2 years of age, he is full a character and has loads of life. Rex is currently in a foster home so that he can be assessed, and he is proving to be a delightfully wee soul.

Rex is mainly black with a delicate white blaze and white on his paws, he approximately 14inch high, and has the most beautiful eyes, and prefect glossy fur.

Now let me tell you a little bit about our Rex,

Rex is very affectionate and will go up to anyone he sees to introduce himself and to get some fuss, he really loves the ladies and will do anything for them.

MORE PHOTO'S AVAILABLE

He is also good with other dogs and is currently living with the fosterers female lab, he understands doggie language and is respectful with toys, food and is not possessive, but happy to share. It was wonderful watching them both playing tug of war, and chasing each other around the garden in figure of eight. They also like to play with each other, by nipping each other’s leg, and tussling around on the floor.

Both dogs have been left alone at home for a few hours, without any destructive behaviour, soiling or damage at any occasion.

Rex loves to play and then sleep, he could sleep for England and often does, he is wary of fast movement or shouting, also doesn’t like you putting on his collar, we think he might have been roughly treated at some stage. He is fine for you to hold his collar, to move it around his neck, to put his lead on, all fine, just taking off and putting it on worries him, the fosterer is working on this and reassuring him that no harm will come to him, and things are looking good.

Rex is also fine with young children that visit, but due to his love of life, being very active and bouncy we would recommend older children that he could play with and for them to stimulate him, he would make a wonderful companion for another family dog. Rex would also be a good candidate for agility or something like, as he is eager to learn and loves to please you, and enjoys playing. Rex understands several commands, gets very excitable when going out for a walks, he pulls initial on the lead, but calms down after a few minutes, he is a very clean in the home and a tidy eater.

Rex, loves the letterbox, and will listen out for anything coming, he will destroy whatever comes through, so a letterbox cage would have to be used, he will also be reluctant to give it back to you, but fine with other things, he just hates the letters.

Rex is a good traveller, and enjoys a ride out in the country. Rex is also a good guard dog, he will warn you if he is concerned about noises outside the home, it’s just a few whoofs, he is not a consistent barker, just a warner.

For more information on Rex please contact us on any of the details below, they will be happy to pass on the fosterer’s telephone number so you can find out much more.
