Winter/Snow nose

Kira has recently lost some of the pigment on her nose
I dont use plastic bowls so it must be the weather or less sunlight causing it I think
I have read that kelp can help bring back the colour in a winter or snow nose
has anyone any idea where to get kelp and how much to give ?
or should I just leave it and see if her nose returns to normal after the winter?

Sorry for sounding stupid here, but what has plastic bowls got to do with anything??

4 of my cockers have brown noses, but as far as I know this is purely because they are orange roan.......my blue roan has a black nose

crazycockers I've been reading about snow/winter noses online and a few sites have said plastic bowls can cause it in some dogs ,I think if the dog is sensitive or alergic to plastic ? well thats what some people think anyway ?

it does go black again when we get some sun. I was also told vitamin E is good for it although I have never tried it.

PJ different breeds/different nose colours Some bitches when due in season can get a slight change of 'nose colour' too
