Indie has developed a fear of some noises

ok, indie is running away from me and shaking

i was playing a game with her which involved me blowing rasberries on her well, she was running round the room having fun, and then all of a sudden she was scared and hid in the corner. so we stopped, but now she wont go near me Shes really panting and shaking and she runs if i go near her.

anyone heard of this happening before?

Hi Jenny Many dogs have a fear response to some things. Amy hates all the bells at work they are so loud, she shakes and gets under the desk.

The fear response is often caused be associating the noise or event with a similar ones that may have scared them in the past. Best course of action is to adopt a cheery voice and not to sympathise or you will reinforce Indie concern and make her think there was something to be afraid of.
