Now I am so worried.

We have just got back from the Vets for Mo's cut leg.
There is a skin flap that is dead and needs to be removed under anaesthetic and then the wound stitched. She has to go in tomorrow to have this done.
She has never been spayed because we were told that it was too dangerous because of her heart condition.
So now I am so worried about her going in tomorrow. We talked this over thoroughly with Kevin her Vet and I can only be guided by him, but tomorrow is going to be a long harrowing day.
We need loads of positive, healing vibes please

I suppose the thinking is that spay is a choice where as this is necessary .
I have my fingers crossed for her and I am sending all the healing vibes I can muster .

Hopefully the op will be a short one and she wont have to be under long.
Sending lots of healing vibes to her, and lots of (((hugs))) to you xxx

pharaoh has had this done countless times, its a very quick op under very light anaesthetic. Nothing as deep or invasive as the Spay op.

Healing thoughts...
Pharaoh's sympathy.

Aw thanks all.
Yes I have been thinking it wont be nearly as long under the anaesthetic or as deep as for a spay.
Big licks to Pharaoh from Mo, and for the rest of you

Can they not do it under a local? I had this done with my elderly JRT, she had a heart murmur (loud!) she had 5 stitches under local while I held her, no problem at all.

It's the cutting off of the skin flap that is the concern. He said she would scream the place down without an anaesthetic
