Pero organic... anybody used it?

Bongo's on her last bag of Burns mini bites - it's time to start phasing in some grown-up food. The obvious thing is to move on to Burn's adult food, but we're not totally decided...

Got a rather bargainous trial kit of Pero Organic food yesterday at Crufts, and was wondering if anybody has any experience with it. I was impressed with the ingredients list (just chicken, rice and honey), and the fact that they use free range chicken (that's quite a big deal for me really). The protein content is 22%, so a little more than Burns, but is it too much?

Any thoughts welcome...

I've just checked the ingredients list and it's a bit more than just chicken, rice and honey!

I think I would stick to Burns, for cocker spaniels you have to feed Pero up to 320grms a day, which is 3 times the amount I feed at the moment! My girls get 110grms Burns with lots of raw veg. They also get raw meat, but I cut down on the complete when I do.

I'm pretty certain I bought a Pero Organic from the supermarket to try my lot on it and it didn't keep them erm firm if you get my drift!

Thanks for the feedback guys - looks like it might be Burns-for-grownups then...
